A celadon ceramic foo dragon sculpture brings luck to its owner. The celadon jade green glaze is from an ancient Chinese recipe.
The Foo dragons are associated with luck and wealth. The theory is that there is only one opening – the mouth – and no way for the wealth, or anything else, to pass through.
Please note that these are all handcrafted and therefore unique items. Color, size and design will vary slightly. This is especially true of celadon glazed items. We source and hand pick only the very finest examples.
They look very impressive when bought as a pair. In fact in Thailand they are usually displayed in pairs. Often either side of a door way or path.
