Celadon ceramic lucky foo dogs are found only in the finest houses and temples of Thailand. The celadon jade green glaze is from an ancient Chinese recipe.
The Foo Dogs are called Singha Lions in Thailand. They are both associated with luck and wealth.

They look very impressive when bought as a pair. In fact in Thailand they are usually displayed in pairs. Often either side of a door way or path.
