A classic Sawankhalok era ceramic vase. Very unique with lovely patina. Sangkhalok ceramic ware dates back to the 12th and 13th centuries. Local mud and river silt is used and the unique glaze is fired to over 1200 degrees C.
This is a wonderful, rare and unique item. We must travel to Sukhothai province for these exceptional items.
Because these ceramic items are handmade they are all unique and will therefore vary in color size and design. We carefully hand pick only the very finest examples.
